Orthodontic Treatment Manly

If you would like to have beautiful straight teeth but the idea of traditional braces puts you off, you may benefit from clear aligners. Clear aligners are comfortable thin clear clip on devices used to correct crooked teeth. Correcting misalignment of the teeth helps to slow the general wear and tear of the teeth and also helps improve gum health.

During our regular check ups all of our dentists will assess your ‘bite’ or occlusion and discuss any concerns with you about yourself or your child. Ideally, children should be screened for any potential orthodontic problems from an early age. Early intervention of some orthodontic problems  can avoid the requirement of painful oral surgery in later childhood and reduce the overall time your child may need to be in active orthodontic treatment.

Dental on Cambridge can provide information to you about your orthodontic treatment options for misaligned teeth, including spaced or crowded teeth, over and under bites and cross bites. The important thing is accurate information, speak to one of our experienced dentists today about the options!

Straight teeth can be achieved from as little as $50 a week with a payment plan - call our team on (07) 3348 6661 or book online to find out more!

Clear Aligners

Clear aligners, like Invisalign and Clear Correct are a discreet minimally visible alternative to braces that can help you achieve a straighter smile. They are the modern way to straighten your teeth! The treatment uses a series of clear, custom-made aligners to gradually move your teeth into the desired position. As they are clear, they are almost invisible! They’re made out of strong medical-grade plastic; however, they are smooth, making them comfortable and easily removed.

Our orthodontic treatment at Dental on Cambridge is state of the art, using the latest in 3D scanning and imaging technology to carefully plan the complete series of movements your teeth need to go through to achieve a straighter smile. A series of custom-made aligners to facilitate these movements will be provided by Alex or Simone which will gradually transform your smile. Treatment length is dependent on each individual case, however the average treatment time is usually between 8 to 12 months, with some patients only requiring 6 months treatment, and others requiring 18 months.
